FreeNAS not seen on network

just installed FreeNAS. I can access the GUI and pick the static IP I gave it but it is not available to my computers, WD TV Live or XBOX XBMC. I had loaded this on another computer a couple of weeks ago as a test and it was seen on the windows NW asap. Do Not know what is wrong now.

You haven't specified that you enabled the actual services...CIFS/NFS/AFP?

Sorry about that. Yes I setup 2 Windows (CIFS) shares. I did the same 2 weeks ago and now I cannot figure out why. I can ping the box. Is there somewhere else to enable the CIFS service other than Sharing?

Just to let you know I started from scratch: reloaded USB Flash Drive and entered new settings and FreeNAS is now visible on NW. Had set the previous USB load to go back to factory defaults and started to to do install on new machine w/o reinstalling flash drive. Guess you cannot do that. Must always start fresh?. Thanks for your help!
