FreeNAS FTP Client

Hi All,

I'm brand new to FreeNAS and I'm just playing around with it right now but I need some help! I think the answer is no from what I'm reading, but I'll ask anyway - does FreeNAS have an FTP client I can download or install? I'm not referring to the inbuilt FTP server, but an FTP client to access FTP servers *outside* of FreeNAS. I have a seedbox and I'd like to know if it's possible to access it from FreeNAS and download files from the seedbox.

There is one in FreeBSD (the underlying OS). You should probably set up a jail and use it from there, to be on the safe side.

Does this have a GUI I can access / use from the FreeNAS web interface? Or is it CLI only?

If you want to do file management directly on FreeNAS you will be confined to CLI, with some specific exceptions. There is no GUI file management, the FreeNAS GUI is basically a web frontend for the configuration files found in FreeBSD.
