Hello there,
I am 38 and live in France. I work in Network area. I was expert but I am more in management area. I tend to come back in two different technical areas, Java dev and BI.
For a mix of personal and professional needs, I set up a computer with Windows 7 + VMWare workstation. In this environment I want to create all services I need.
One of these services is to have a common place to store data. Here comes FreeNAS.
FreeNAS is running on one VM. CIFS works well. But I try to install minidlna plugin following the official documentation http://doc.freenas.org/index.php/Plugins. The plugin is installed, I see it in "services-> Contro services -> Plugins". But I cannot configure it as it doesn't appear in "Services -> Plugins".
I post a message for this in the forum.
I hope I will enjoy FreeNAS.
Regards,
Renaudl
