FreeNAS box disappeared from the network

During a network copy operation, I accidentally unplugged the switch. This caused me to lost access to the shares and the box no longer shows up in either File Manager or an IP scan using Angry IP Scanner or Advanced IP scanner. I can ping the box by IP but not by name. The web interface works and all appears normal. I've gone over all the settings and they all appear normal. It appears to be a DNS problem but I have no idea what it could be. I've reset everything including the router.

Any help much appreciated.

Yes. I reinstall FreeNAS and that fixed it.

You shouldn't have needed to reinstall to fix this. A simple reboot should suffice.

Tried that several times, no joy. I wish I had reinstalled to begin with rather than waste a bunch of time trying to sort it out. A reinstall is easy, even if you don't have a backup config file (which I didn't). It's just a NAS box, no jails and other fancy stuff.
