Freenas as a member of samba domain

Hi everybody.
It is possible to setup a freenas to be a member of samba NT4 style domain?

Yes. I have one at work integrated with Active Directory. Works pretty slick.

No. NT4 domain support was removed from FreeNAS a few years ago.

Why do you still need a whole NT4 domain? I get needing machines here and there for expensive equipment with outdated software, but enough to warrant a domain?
