Hi
I had to rebuild my system last year due to disk failure 2 Seagate 4Tb nas drives it now has 2 WD Red nas 4Tb and 2 WD Red 6Tb these last 2 are the replacement disk .After the latest update I noticed these two critical errors on one of the WD 4Tb disk my question is can it be repaired or should I replace with a new WD Red 6 tb disk and to a rebuild
CRITICAL: Jan. 15, 2017, 12:26 a.m. - Device: /dev/ada0, 1 Currently unreadable (pending) sectors
CRITICAL: Jan. 15, 2017, 12:26 a.m. - Device: /dev/ada0, ATA error count increased from 0 to 5
I am not very technical so keep it simple for me

Yes, you need to investigate /dev/ada0.

Have you scheduled SMART tests on your system? If not, now would be a good time... Here's a screenshot of the SMART test setup on one of my servers:

smart-tests.jpg

In the meantime, you can run some tests right away. Start a shell and run: smartctl -t short /dev/ada0 - this will start a short test of the drive. You'll have to wait a few minutes for it to finish; the smartctl program will in fact tell you roughly how long to wait. Then run this command: smartctl -a /dev/ada0 to query the drive for the test results. Post the result between CODE tags, like this:
Code:

The drive may not be on its last legs, but it's showing signs of trouble. A good reference to read is @joeschmuck's "Hard Drive Troubleshooting Guide".

Good luck!

I think that a replacement disk may be required as this ada0 disk is under 2 years old I TRY to get a warranty return ?

Yes, this drive is failing the SMART short test with a read error and is eligible for replacement if still under warranty.

Thank you for your advice have replaced the disk with a WD 6TB Red Nas have this showing
Code:
CRITICAL: Jan. 16, 2017, 9:47 p.m. - The volume house (ZFS) state is ONLINE: One or more devices is currently being resilvered. The pool will continue to function, possibly in a degraded state.

this will go away I hope
The failed drive was bought in March 2016 will go for a warranty claim

You need to look at your system and configure email notifications. You should have been getting hammered with emails.
