Hi,
I´m new to freeNAS, a learner of BSD also, I´m trying freeNAS for the first time, so need some help.
I downladed and extracted the image to a USB stick of 8GB (Kingston), after booting from the stick 64bits img says there´s no swap and kills python. After a few tries I extracted the x86 img and everything went fine, I was able to access and configure the system.
Problems are:
1 - Why I have 2GB RAM installed and showing during boot, but freeNAS says I have only 236MB of RAM? (Machine is a Dell Xeon Poweredge 1800)
2 - How do I install it from the USB stick since installation options only show when booting from CD?
Thanks .
