Hello,
I have a FreeNAS-11.3-U5 system sharing iSCSI storage to a VMWare cluster. The storage pool currently has "Enable Atime = on", I would like to turn it off. I have searched the forums, as well as google looking to answer the following question:
Will there be any impact to the VMWare cluster if I disable atime (zfs set atime=off <pool>) live (i.e. dozens of guests running on VMWare)? I have read that changing the atime setting will cause the pool to be remounted, if this is the case does it in turn cause a problem for the iSCSI export?
Thanks,
Mike
