FreeNas 11.2U3 Install

I'm having trouble installing. I wrote iso to usb and cd and it says to put in bootable media ? Never happend before it's set to ide should I ahci? I tried to upgrade it through the gui but it just errors and cant boot anymore? What about UEFI Or Legacy?

You seem to be having a lot of different problems...

Can you please start by providing the details of your hardware? You've had at least 3 requests so far to do so and have not provided any information.

IDE/AHCI would be for SATA devices, probably not involved in this boot problem you are experiencing.

Give some more details on how you "wrote iso to usb and cd" and how your bios is set up to boot from those devices.

It's not possoble to comment if you don't give more information.

I have freenas 11.1u7 and a x8dtl-if server motherboard and 2 4th hdds. 11.1u7 works but I tried to update it and it errored on the gui. I tried usb iso and cd iso install still nothing the board supports uefi and legacy.

I see the pool but cannot get into the drive to pull the files off.

Or is it in 11.2U3 you can see the pool but cannot get into the drive?

What is the most recent version of FreeNAS that fully worked for you?

I'm worried cause its saying 3.1tb left and before it was 2.1tb left. I havent written over any drives or anything
