FN11 VM Zvol dropdown empty

Hey Folks,
i want to create a VM with the new FN11 stable.

Under devices i tried to add a disk, but the dropdown menu for Zvol is empty.

I have 2 pools and have access to it from a windows machine.

Any idea?

That was supposed to be fixed in RC3: https://bugs.freenas.org/issues/24059.

Was this a fresh install or an upgrade (if an upgrade, from which version)?

Please create a new bug report at bugs.freenas.org and post the issue number here. In the report, mention that it is not fixed for you in 11 and the version you upgraded from.

I can't speak for anybody else, but I was having this problem of the zvol dropdown being empty -- and finally realized the problem was that I'd been creating datasets, not zvols, earlier. When I created a zvol as the docs say, it appeared in the list just fine.

Not saying anybody else did this -- but I was feeling all self-righteous and huffy about this obvious bug that everybody including me was having being closed as unreproducible, probable user error...and then I figured out what error I was in fact committing :-( . So I thought I should at least mention it.
