failed USB how to get data back from harddrive

My usb that I use to boot to freenas has failed. Now I can not get into my data I have stored onto my nas. Is there any way to get my data back? Can I make another usb and install freenas and freenas automatically give back all my data. I need to get my data back!!!

Re-install on to another drive and import your pool, it's that easy.

Note: If your pool was encrypted, you better have a copy of your recovery keys otherwise you can consider you data gone.
