Hello all, I attempted to upgrade from 9.10.2-U4 to 11.2-U6 today and the system failed to mount properly and I received the error message in the console below. Unfortunately the system would not boot past this mount error so I had to do a roll back.

I was able to reboot and select the 9.10 install and I was able to get the system back up and running (Thank Goodness for the Multiple Boot Environment roll back options). I need to upgrade to 11 to have support for the newer versions of Plex so I need your help to figure out what went wrong and how to successfully upgrade.

You can try a new install on a separate boot device and import the config. That worked for me.

Okay so I was finally able to migrate from FreeNAS 9.10 to 11.2 by first upgrading to 11.1, then doing the upgrade to 11.2. So if you have the same issue as me DONT GO directly from 9.10 to 11.2, do the upgrade to 11.1 first.

Hope this helps someone else if you have the same issue.
