I am running FreeNAS (latest production version) and my lan is using an Opensense router, with Unbound as the DNS, along with Sensei for monitoring.
The lan has about 20 users on it.
DNS requests from the FreeNas system are very high, for example over 300,000 requests, the nearest other systems are in the region of 80,000.
The FreeNas system is not heavily used, just weekly backups, occasional recoveries and two Apple Time Machine instances for laptops.
Services running are AFP, FTP,SMART,SMB.SNMP,SSH & UPS
This issue was also apparent on earlier releases.
Is this normal behaviour?
