NIC has 2 Ports, configured in Bridge mode
after running the FW update of the NIC and disabling PXE boot (not needed)
Port1 connected to the 10 GBit switch which has the WAN connection.
Port2 goes to another PC - OK
Switching the NIC cables to the other respective NIC port will move the problem to the other NIC port.
solution:
restarted the 10 GBit switch (power off) and TrueNAS Core host.
I am running TN CORE 12.0-U6.1 as of today.
My zpool was degraded, so I figured I would do some additional maintenance.
Never touch a running system...
