Error creating the PBI from CHMOD?

Been trying of and on to upgrade Sabnzbd for some time which results in "error creating the PBI" . Research has lended little to a solution. Today's effort resulted in me digging a bit further and finding info in var/log/messages that may be relevant. The below is everything resulting from the update attempt.

What permissions are on the file/dataset and what permissions are needed?

Permissions on that particular directory are 775. Don't now how to determine what permissions are needed. The directory is empty and immediately above (read outside of the plugin jail itself) so I'm assuming it is a temporary area for updates by the various plugin jails below it.
