Hello, Wondering *IF* I need to run the Nextcloud plug in on my TrueNAS CORE installation...I mean I am running TrueNAS CORE on my home (dedicated PC) and all I want to achieve is to have my files copied and 'saved' on NAS! I want them to SYNCHRONIZE with my Windows desktop and Laptop PC's that are on my LAN. I am not familiar with the tool, utility or process to get TrueNAS CORE to synchronize the files from my other PC's (Windows10) here on my LAN. I was able to find the SYNC utility in Nextcloud and I went with Nextcloud because I could not find the sync utility in TrueNAS.

You can create an SMB share and just place all your files there to be opened from whatever PC you like. Why exactly would you prefer a local copy plus synchronisation?

Was just looking to have 3 different storage places. Thought I would have the TrueNAS SYNC location as #2 and #3 being out on dropbox cloud.

May I ask: Your windows PC files (data, word, etc) go to your NAS (TrueNAS?) and then get uploaded to "backblaze"? Is backblaze a cloud-based storage offering?

synced between the 3 devices and pushed to B2 every 15 mins
B2 is supported directly by freenas
