Distant connect

Hi,

I can connect to my nas in local network ....but it's impossible on distant network without difficulty. Indeed, with vpn it's ok, with my phone in 4g, it s ok, but with a standard ADSL or fibre connections....no way....have you some ideas Guys??? Thx a lot for tour answers ....ans sorry for my english...

1. A VPN is the only secure way to connect to your home network to access your NAS. Do not under any circumstances port forward your NAS to WAN.
2. Sounds like you have VPN working via a 4G cell connection. If you are trying to connect a VPN via someone else's internet connection (ASDL, etc), that router/firewall needs to support VPN passthrough for what ever VPN protocol you are using (OpenVPN, IPSec, etc.) You will have to ask the owner of that equipment to enable VPN passthrough.
