One of my backup servers went offline, so I temporarily disabled replication
in “Storage → ZFS Replication → Edit → Enabled=unchecked”. However, I still get
regular “Replication failed” emails. So apparently the switch didn't work as
expected. The tooltip reveals “Disabling will stop any new replications being
queued. It will not stop any replications which are queued or in progress.

Since the backup server went offline no replication is in progress, so there have to be replications in the queue. I couldn't find information in the manual or forums how to
display the queue to confirm my assumption. How to display the queue?

The bonus question is how to empty the queue?

That check-box is broken in 9.2.0. You need remove the replication task to stop it from executing. A proper fix will be in 9.2.1: https://bugs.freenas.org/issues/3899

There is no queue. Every time the system takes a scheduled snapshot it also tries to do replication (if the current time is inside the replication window). When the replication fails you get an error. To get rid of the errors in 9.2.0 you need to remove the replication task.
