Disks Show Unavailable

Hello.
My storage pool shows as 'ONLINE (Unhealthy)' however all the disks show as online. But the 2 Spare drives that are installed show as Unavail. Is it safe to just remove those disks from the spare category?

No, your spares are in active use replacing da7 and da10. Replace da7 and da10, and your pool should be restored to health.

So out of curiosity why isnt it showing da7/10 as 'Degraded' or actively replaced?

That's just a quirk of ZFS reporting.

So I replaced one of the drives and let the system 'Resilver' but the drive that you stated would fall back to being spare is still showing as 'Active'

That step isn't automatic as there are 2 possible outcomes for that stage (leave the spare in place, removing it from the spares list or put the spare back into the spares list).

You should be able to detach the spare after the resilver is complete to the new disk and the used spare will return to the spares list. If you wanted the other result, you detach the failed disk, leaving the spare in place, then you would presumably add a new disk as a replacement for the spare.
