Disk offlined for multiple errors. smartctl doesn't show problem I can understand.

Is this a cabling error? (new cable needed?) Am I missing something? I replaced the drive and attached with different SATA port. Security report and smartctl reports attached.

I know the drive has lots of hours. But if still "good" I could use as spare.

Just my two cents but the Archive drives have a history of not working well in FreeNAS. While it may be fine in other operating systems, ZFS doesn't appear to like them. They don't come ready fast enough or something.

Not saying they are not safe, just that some people might be reluctant to download them. For example, if the user is looking at the forum on a tablet or smart phone.

They were all I could afford back then. I use them for cool storage only of files that will be read only for the most part. I replaced with the shucked "red-ish" drives on ebay.
