I installed freenas on the ada0 and it is showing my ada1 as the boot and the ada0 as storage. I installed it on ada0. It was the only drive installed. I installed the other drives after the reboot.

Adding drives, moving drives or otherwise changing relative position on the SAS/SATA bus will change the drive names. Nothing to worry about.

Drive numbers can change from one boot to the next, even if no change is made.
That's why the pool is not built using those numbers.
