SOLVED Disable Freenas daily/weekly run output email

My Freenas keeps sending me daily and weekly run output to root account's email, I searched on google and this forum and several posts mentioned that this bug was fixed on release 11.1 however I'm running FreeNAS-11.2-U4.1. I don't have any periodic jobs for these reports.

I just want alert emails to be sent to the configured email address (on UI) if anything is wrong, rather than getting these daily/weekly report emails just saying everything is OK. How can I disable it?

One of the new features coming in 11.3 is that the periodic scripts have been replaced by proper alerts (so will do what you are looking for): https://jira.ixsystems.com/browse/NAS-100431.

Thanks for this info, would you let me know if there's way to turn off these periodic daily/weekly report on current version (11.2-U4.1)?

No, which is why we've wanted this feature for awhile Depending upon your email client, you could filter them to a folder you don't read.
