different ipv4 GATEWAY for every jail without vimage

Hello

Im using jails to host different apache versions. All works fine, but on my server i use esxi then freenas then jails.

Due to esxi i cannot use vimage but i need to define different ipv4 gateways for every jails.

unfortunatelly this GUI option does not work.

can anyine please help and tell me how to set up this via another way?

You can use VIMAGE on ESXI. You need to enable promiscuous mode on the virtual switch.

Yes i know this theory.

I had do set this mode to have access to jails.

I have set: Security Promiscuod mode -> Accept

also ID is 4095, should work

Then, when i set VIMAGE [X] it works too util i set different gateway than system gateway for the jail.

my system ip4 gateway is 192.168.1.2 and the jail should pass thru ip4 192.168.2.7

system ip adress is 192.168.3.100

Jail ip adress is 192.168.3.101

maybe any other settings were needed?

system 192.168.3.100 should go thru gateway 192.168.1.2

jail one 192.168.3.101 should go thru gateway 192.168.2.7

jail two 192.168.3.102 should go thru gateway 192.168.2.18

etc....

any working suggestions - WELCOME!

The temporary solution was a bit confusing! but finally i thought that i traced solution,
but there is still conflict in the system:

1. if any other jail use VIMAGE, after setting some parameters it required to
restart other jails too.

2. In my case any change on jail 3 blocked access for jail 1, so restarting
all the jails (even unused) solved the problem but only temporary.

3. an other operation on the jails block network access to another jails.
(hovewer they worked fine few minutes before)

Any suggestions - appreciated.
