Difference FreeNAS 11.1 and 11.2

Hey,
so I wanted to download FreeNAS and the download page here http://www.freenas.org/download-freenas-release/ tells me that there is a "Storage only" and a "Storage, Plugins, and Virtualization" version.
So I want to use plugins but the version is also a BETA version? "11.2-BETA3" Is this production ready? Why is there no stable "Storage, Plugins, and Virtualization" version?

No, the beta version isn’t production ready.

Start with 11.1-u6. Disregard those labels that iXsystems put on the download page. It just confuses new users.
