Hi Folks,

I have installed 8.2.0 beta 3 some while ago. I successfully added 2 x volumes, 1 x internal data, 1 x external via usb both 500GB. For some reason, my drives were no longer recognised after trying to jail the system, besides which, I didm't manage to jail the system either for dlna and uPnP.

I decided to detach the drives, I removed them and plugged them to my Mac OSX, formatted them fully (journaled) and then reattached them. For some reason, I thought I could re-format them and add them as a new drive. When I try to add them in volume manager, the drives da1 and ada0 but will not let me add them as volumes with the same name as previously, as it stated 'volume already exists'. If I call it something else, it works. Any ideas about what I may have done wrong? I don't like the idea of the old drive existing somewhere and adding it as a new one too.

When I click 'view disks' - the drives are present but not labelled. When I click 'view volumes', they are not there. When I click 'volume manager', it gives me the option of adding them, but will not let me use my previous names.

Any ideas and comments much appreciated.

Thanks
