Desktop and browser in jail accessing system devices?

My freenas server mobo hdmi out is plugged into my Denon AVR1913 so I can use my TV as a system monitor when needed. Now I would like to run a web browser in a freenas jail that would access the system display, audio, mouse and keyboard, i.e., would be controllable with a system wireless keyboard and mouse and feed audio and video via the mobo hdmi connector to the Denon AV receiver. This would be akin to a smart TV with built in web browser.

I think this is possible with xfce4, firefox and proper devfs settings, but I'd like some confirmation before I embark. Has anyone already done this? Comments? Thanks!
