Replacement Seasonic came in today and I ran a power comparison test for fun between the Corsair 450W Platinum vs. the Seasonic 650 SSR Titanium. No pool mounted, just boot up to login prompt and then wait about 10 minutes for things to settle down. Net difference: about 10W in favor of the Seasonic PSU, whose plug load draw was about 106W vs. the 116W of the Corsair.

What's remarkable is how the Seasonic SATA power connectors are spaced almost perfectly for the Lian-Li "hot-swap if you feel lucky" backplanes. Skipping over every other SATA connector present, two Seasonic power cables cover all 4 backplanes / 12 drive slots. I could run a second set of cables and also cover the IDE connectors. That way, every drive would have a redundant set of power lines running to it, and (once inserted) IDE power connectors tend to be more resistant to popping out accidentally than the SATA ones.
