I have a current FreeNAS 11.2 U3 white box server with a DAS shelf with a currently configured dive pool. I recently added another DAS shelf, everything was going fine until I found an issue with the SAS controller in the DAS shelf. I removed the shelf and replaced with with the same model shelf but a different set of drives. When I go to create the new pool there are do drives available through the GUI. I powered everything off and powered everything back up and the same issue was present. I than looked at the Disk's under Storage and noticed that it had the first set of drives in the defective DAS listed. I verified on the command line the drives are attached and present. I need to be able to remove the "Ghost" drives from the GUI so that it can see the new set of drives.
As part of adding the second DAS shelf I made a backup of the current configuration before doing anything. I applied the backup I had hoping it would remove the phantom drives but that did not work either. If this is posted to the wrong thread please let me know. Please let me know if there is any additional information that is needed.
