Default Username?

I just installed Freenas 9.3. I set a password and then did a logout from the GUI. When I log back in, it asks me for a username, which I never set. I tried "admin" as a default username based on an internet inquiry and I tried leaving it blank. Neither works; so what username should I use or should I do a total reinstall? I did not find anything on this in the documentation.
