Sorry if this has been brought up before, but I did a quick search and didn't find anything.

I recently upgraded from 11.2-U7 to 11.3-U3.2 (as well as updated the ZFS Pool) and found that I am not able to access my Plex jail.

When I was running 11.2-U7, I had a custom Plex installation (aka not through the plugin manager) running on its own jail. I was able to SSH to my FreeNAS and view the jail by running jls as well as exec into it.

Now when I run jls, that jail no longer shows up, but I still see the jail in my Storage -> Pools view in the web UI. It looks like <pool_name> -> jails -> plex.

Has anyone ran into this before or does anyone know how I can access that jail?

Thanks.

The 11.2 jail ran under warden. 11.3 now uses iocage. You could try the /usr/local/sbin/migrate_warden.py script.

See the 11.3 Guide, Section 1.1:

Deprecated and Removed Features
  • Warden has been removed along with all CLI and web interface support for warden jails or plugins installed using FreeNAS® 11.1 or earlier.

Turns out that did it! I just had to reconfigure some networking options as well and I'm good. Thanks!
