Hello,

I have purchased the above memory very cheap £22.00 off amazon - but i want to make sure the memory would be compatible with the Supermicro MBD-X10SL7-FO.

thanks

Check Supermicro's compatability list on their website.

The specs look like it should work, but we don't generally recommend using 4 GB DIMMs--since you only have 4 DIMM slots, they don't give you much headroom. You may have gotten a good enough price to make it worthwhile, but that would be an unusual case.

well the
CT3KIT51272BA1067 has been delivered, so Amazon stayed true to their price which is now £100+.

im concerned the speed will not be high enough for this board, as the one delivered has 1066 MT/S as opposed to the 1600?

DDR3 (and DDR2 and DDR4) will be automagically run at the highest supported speed - the lowest of motherboard, CPU and DIMM speeds.
