Creating rancheros vm in 11.2 with network device assigns same mac address to bridge and ethernet interface

I'm attempting to setup rancheros in freenas and I am not able to get networking to work. I notice the bridge and ethernet interface is incorrectly getting setup with the same mac address which creates an error ..."br0: received packet on eth0 with own address as source address"

I attempted stopping the vm and changing the mac address on the interface so they would not match, and when I rebooted the vm both addresses were updated with the same mac address.

When you were creating a "docker Vm", what device did you select to "attach NIC" at step4?

Please post output of ifconfig on your FN host.
