I'm new user for FreeNas 8.3.0 and I'm installing it for my small office LAN of 3 windows clients.
My hardware is old so I have to use UFS, I have installed 80 GB PATA hard disk for sharing.
If I understood well from your documents, I cannot create partitions from FreeNAS GUI but only I was had ZFS.
But can I create 2 NTFS partitions and import them into 2 volumes ?
I'd like to have 2 volumes, each for every sharing: one for public , the other for specific users
