I'm using latest RELEASE version (FreeNAS-8.0.4-RELEASE-p3-x64) and left the "Create Swap partition"-Settings option in its standard 2 GB value.
After exporting the volume I've tried to import it again, but found myself unable to make any use of the (what I suppose is the) UFS swap partition that was automagically created.
Any hint how I "re-import" it / assign it to the imported UFS volume?
Case in point:
ada0 500 GB SATA drive
ada0p1 2 GB UFS swap
ada0p2 498 GB UFS partition
Import ada0p2 as UFS - SUCCESS
Import ada0p1 as UFS - FAILED ... ?
PS: it seems it is crucial to import ALL partitions of a volume for the volume to enter "HDD standby" - so this 2GB partition is literally making my volumes run non-stop for nothing. (Can anyone confirm this?)
Thanks for any replies.
