Create different user with different permissions

Currently i connect to my FreeNAS with user root and my password and same to my data folders via windows share (CIFS).
What i want to do is to give root user the option only to read files and create another user with full permissions.
How can i do that ?

Not possible. Root is root. Use root for administering the server. Use regular accounts for access controls.

And how can i create regular account with only read permissions ?

• Create group (for limited users) http://doc.freenas.org/9.3/freenas_account.html#groups
  
• Create a user account - http://doc.freenas.org/9.3/freenas_account.html#users and add it to the above group.
• Assign privileges - This will differ depending on how you set up your permissions. Typically, you can right-click on the share in explorer, then click 'properties' -> 'security', and add an access control entry for your group.

I created group: usersgroup.
After i created user: htpc, this is my settings:

After that when go to \\myNasIpAddress and try to type my new user (htpc) and the password this not connect and ask the user and password again.
I also remove all Write and Execute permissions but after save this settings it still remained like this screenshot.

Use your "root" user to set access control entries.
Windows only lets you use one set of credentials to authenticate to a CIFS server. You will have to clear cached credentials to authenticate as a different user.

1. By saying use your "root" user to set access control entries you mean that i need to map my NAS as network folder and change the user permissions ? any tutorial how to do that ?

2. I have another computer in the same network with Kodi\XBMC that read the media files from this NAS, in this machine i am using SMB, how can i connect from here using another user ?
