I am trying to install Crashplan plugin but It is not showing up as an available plugin. Where can I get the plugin?
The version of FreeNAS I am running is 11.0 RC

The CrashPlan plugin hasn't worked for a long time, it also hasn't been maintained. Your best bet is to stand up a Linux VM inside FreeNAS and install CrashPlan in that.

I have never used that feature in FreeNAS. Do you know a good article I can read to learn more about the vm side of things? Or do you know a better way to backup a remote computer?

I don't think I have enough memory to complete a vm. My system only has 8GB ram with i7-2600 @ 3.40GHz running

I haven't done this myself but you might be able to setup crashplan in a standard jail, following some steps similar to https://www.nas4free.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10568. I can't say whether this would work or not as I don't use crashplan. Others might be able to chime in.

Note: The steps on that page MIGHT not at all be accurate, it was more of an example

Crashplan in a jail is terrible and doesn't work. It gets auto updates and that breaks everything. You need to run it in a Linux vm. I run mine on a vm running in my desktop and just mount my smb share into the VM.
