Corral finally died, question about installing 11x

So today I woke up to a dead Corral (10.0.2 i think) server, I tried rebooting and its still dead something about failing to restart BSP. I am thinking that this is an optimal time to switch over to a supported version and just wanted to make sure of the process. Is it as simple as doing a normal install of 11.x and once that comes online it will see my file system? I know I will lose the vmware/docker stuff from corrall, but I am only concerned with my data at this point.

The most significant thing to highlight is that the aclmode needs to be reset to something supported, or else weird stuff will happen.
