Hi

I keep receiving the following error when using FreeNAS as a time machine backup.

2019-02-25 12:38:27.809038+0000 Error: (-36) SrcErr:YES Copying /Volumes/com.apple.TimeMachine.localsnapshots/Backups.backupdb/christopher’s MacBook Pro/2019-02-25-123324/Macintosh HD/Applications/qt/5.2.0/Src/qtquick1/src/doc/src/images/qml-xmllistmodel-example.png to (null)

This is causing time machine to stop. If i then re-start time machine it will continue for a while before a similar error occurs. Yesterday, i managed to backup 300Gb before this occurred.

FreeNAS is running on a Dell T110 server with 8G ram and 2T of free disk space.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I'm not sure I have much to offer but I can guess that folks will likely want to know, at the very least, what version of FreeNAS you're running. It is worth checking out the forum posting rules to make sure you provide enough information for folks to help you. In your case it may also be useful to tell folks how you are connecting to your FreeNAS machine. Is everything wired to a router or switch? Are you using any range extenders? etc . . .
