Ciao a tutti ho acquistato un
HBA DELL H310 6 GBPS SAS HBA FW:P20 9211-8i IT modalità ZFS FreeNAS unraid 2 * SATA SFF
Installato su scheda madre Supermicro x11ssl-f, ho collegato al HBA un hdd ma non lo vede,
Devo settare qualcosa nel bios?

Hi everyone I bought a
DELL H310 6GBPS SAS HBA FW: P20 9211-8i IT ZFS mode FreeNAS unraid 2 * SATA SFF
Installed on Supermicro x11ssl-f motherboard, I connected a hdd to the HBA but it doesn't see it,
Do I have to set something in the bios?

I am a big fan of "separating things". So, while having no experience with this HBA, the first thing to do from my perspective is to check whether either part has a defect. E.g. connecting the HDD to the board directly, or plugging in another HDD that is known to work.

Plus, of course, Google and/or this forum might have additional details on the H310.

Does the HDA spin-up ?
Is there a Pin3 3.3 volt issue ?

Now it works I replaced SAS SATA cable,
A problem takes 5 minutes more to start
