So in the past week or two ive gotten almost everything on my NAS to work exactly the way that I want it to. All of my shares work perfectly, my plex runs fine, and my replication works as well.

All of a sudden when I copied a handful of files to my CIFS share my system log just started getting flooded with this message: connectionscreate_connection_session_info failed: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED since then it did stop, and I restarted CIFS for good measure.

I did a little research on it but only really found people with that error whose shares didnt actually work, whereas mine still do. Is there anything to worry about with this error? is there any other log I can check to dig further into this potential issue?

Do you have your shares configured for guest mode and password authentication?

Guest mode is off, im assuming password mode is enabled. I connect with an account I created and have no trouble adding, deleting or executing files.

I'm having the exact same issue. All shares work fine but this error floods the shell. If it's not a problem that's fine but it might hide a real problem if one begins as the signal to noise ratio is very low at this point. Any ideas? I tried the fixes in Bug #5318 already. No fix there.
