connect to freenas using infuse from anywhere

Question: Hoe do I setup freenas so I can use infuse to connect to freenas from anywhere?

or do you guys really recommend plex?

I believe the most typical solution to this sort of problem is to use a VPN to connect to your home LAN.

For media, I say Plex wins. For general file usage, VPN is the best
