Hey everyone!
I want to build a low-cost TrueNAS for personal storage and use some plugins like Plex and NextCloud. I'll probably be the main user to access this NAS (at most 2 other users may access it sometimes).

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 3200G 3.6 GHz Quad-Core
Motherboard: Biostar A320MH Micro ATX AM4
RAM: G.Skill Aegis 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR4-2400 CL15
Storage: SSD Gigabyte 120 GB 2.5" for the OS | Seagate BarraCuda 2 TB 2.5" 5400RPM for personal storage
PSU: Gigabyte P-B 450 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
Case: Kolink Satellite

The usual caveats. Gamer / Consumer gear so:
No ECC (not 100% compulsory - but reccomended)
Crappy Realtek NIC - reccomend using an basic Intel instead
8GB RAM is bare minimum for TrueNAS
PSU is probably fine for a single HDD - but be careful here)
turn off anything un-needed on the motherboard like sound

With AMD of some generations you need to turn off some bios settings otherwise TN is unstable. CoolNQuiet rings a bell but if you go ahead check the forums for clues.
Dunno about Plex and AMD with hardware transcoding - I believe not supported, so software transcodes only

Oh and lastly, with only one data drive you are getting absolutely none of the advantages of ZFS. I suggest running two disks in mirrors for data which makes a great deal more sense

That Seagate Barracuda - is it SMR or CMR - if its SMR then don't use it with ZFS (although with just one disk it probably doesn't matter, but see previous comment)
