Hi

I read it is possible to have 2 raidz arrays in freenas to appear as 1 storage pool but havn't been able to find any documentation explaining how to do it.

I have freenas 8 with 5 2TB diska in a raidz array

I'm am getting a esata cage for 4 more disks which I want to use for another raidz array

thanks

No.
But you may add the four discs as "another vdev" to your existing raidz. You may even use the GUI to do this.
