Temperatures for the WD Red drives in my FreeNAS box were too high, hadn't noticed it before, but decided that when I pulled it out for its belated Fall cleaning, I'd check on the condition of the fans and see if I needed to add another Noctua or not.
Turns out it just needed a good dusting. After blowing the dust out and cleaning the filters on the CM690 II case, the HDD temps are down at least 6 degrees C, so low thirties rather than high thirties.
Clean your filters! :)
