CIFS Sharing Windows Network Error No permissions or path not found

Hi All, I am new to FN8 I am able to get the CIFS share to show up in windows on xp boxes and win7 boxez and server 2003 but cant access it so I have made all the screen shots for these config screens hope someone can help me out Thanks Renz!

Hi Renz,

Not sure if this will work, but in your screenshot CIFSShare2.jpg try unchecking "Only Allow Guest Access".

Renz, I didn't see a screen shot for your services. Did you make sure to turn on the CIFS 'service'?
There's a little On/Off Icon you need to click so it turns blue.

yes I have it on and have restarted whenever I made any change and have rebooted a workstation and the nas I have not joined the FNb box to the domain (NT 4.0 or 2000 domain) I have just gvien SUPPORT workgroup that exists on the domain

This is a persistent issue I have tried many things. Is the a pro version of freeNas as this will be unusable on our business network the way it stands. Thanks Renz
