CIFS no longer follows sym links

After USB stick failure I did a fresh setup of the System with 9.3 and ZFS instead of UFS.

unfortunately my Clients (Windows, Porpcornhour) are now not longer following symlinks.
The share onfiguration is like before.

Links:
/mnt/ssd01/Media/TV Shows 1@ -> /mnt/disk01/TV Shows 1
/mnt/ssd01/Media/Movies Blu-ray 1@ -> /mnt/disk02/Movies Blu-ray 1

I have 4 Shares all with:
follow symlinks = yes
wide links = yes
unix extensions = no

Media /mnt/ssd01/Media
ssd01 /mnt/ssd01
hd01 /mnt/disk01
hd02 /mnt/disk02

Clients could use the Media share immediately, but now fail on the symlink

I am running out of ideas.

What's the error on the client end? Anything related in /var/log/messages on the FreeNAS end? Also, are you updated to the latest 9.3-STABLE?

It was the latest 9.3 stable. But I went back to 9.2.1.9 and everything works fine now (and I do not not have to use ZFS)

You are using ufs? Stick with 9.2.1.9. That information as is your hardware spec is very important when you post. Please provide it next time you have a question.
