Tom from Germany
finally registered for this forum. I run my home server on FreeBSD for 12 years now. First direct, inbetween a short stint of ubuntu LTS ("server" variant) (never ever again!), then FreeNAS with jails for a couple of things like mail, nextcloud etc. I tame a couple of FreeNAS at work, also extending their usage and minimizing system boredom by giving them some other tasks like databases, graphing frontends etc.
Currently, i try to figure out why FreeBSD and FreeNAS people thought releasing that vm funtionality on simple minds like myself would be a good idea.
