Hi,
I have recently changed the home directory for a user on my Truenas Core server from /mgt/poolname/homedirectory1 to /mgt/poolname/homedirectory2 in order to change around some permissions on the server. This has caused the server to copy all of the contents from the user's previous homedirectory1 and dump it into the new homedirectory2. This has caused a massive data duplication. The user was using the homedirectory2 for some time, building up data inside the directory.
When trying to delete the files in the new homedirectory2, they will just begin reappearing after some time. I need to keep the contents of homedirectory1 for archival purposes. Is there any way to STOP the old homedirectory1 from copying all of its data across to the new homedirectory2?
