hi all
im looking at upgrading 2 of my disks which sit as a mirror on freenas.
i have some new 8TB disks that id like to replace the existing disks with...
so my question is
can i simply pull one of the disks out and put my new disk in?
wait till it finishes rebuilding the mirror then repeat for the other disk?
or would i be better off copying the data off these 2 disks and replacing both disks at once meaning build a new pool/share etc?
Version:
FreeNAS-11.3-U3.2
let me know if you need any more info!
appreciate any help
cheers!
