Change Active Directory sync time

FreeNAS currently syncs with AD once every day. It would be nice to be able to increase the frequency of these syncs to once every hour.
I'd also be able to hack this together with cron, but I need a slightly better understanding of how FreeNAS does the sync.

Well, I have 2 problems with this:

1. If you are needing to sync more frequently than daily, something is very wrong with your configuration. AD should allow you to deviate by about 5 minutes without problems.
2. Some domains have strict default rules that kick machines out of the domain that check their time more frequently than expected, with one person claiming more than 3 times in a day is considered an attempted-DoS. This may not be a problem for a single machine, but put 10000 machines on your network checking regularly and you can create problems.

Why are you needing to sync more frequently? This sounds like something needs to be fixed, and trying to cover up a bleeding gash with a small bandaid isn't the best fix.
